bluetooth teething trouble

Can anyone help? I have a Nokia Bluetooth headset HDW-2 (18 months old) and have had no problems using it with my old 6310i. However I have upgraded to a 6230 Nokia and the headset will pair ok and connect but 30 sec later disconnect.

Does anyone know if this might be a bluetooth 1 vs bluetooth 2 bluetooth conflict? smashfreakB.gif

i could detect his (one of them flippy full keyboard boomerang type Nokias) , two other known phones within 10m and a roaming unknown...

His Nokia reported nothing whatsoever yet we were stood together!

Not sure what else to try.

Yep - also tried to reset the headset - the book says press and hold on button with the smart button but it doesnt seem to work on mine. maybe thats the problem - its been in constant use for 18mnths now.
