Waylander
hi i just got my new 80x Lexar Pro CF card it is supposed to come pre-loadd with image-rescue software but i have no idea how i can get it off there! I dont have a card reader yet so currently am using the camera [canon a95] with usb lead and zoom browser to transfer pix to my computer. However it [obviously] says there are no images on it and when i "explore" from "my computer" all i see is a folder labelled "misc" but which contains nothing even when i copy it across to my desktop. How to i get this software across to my pc so i format the card? Thanks
Jez
You will need to use a card reader to unload the software from the card, the card reader will see it as a disk. Your camera software will only look for jpegs on the card. I have a lexar card and as soon as I got it I put in in my camera and formatted it wiping out the software Doh ! Waylander
i may be able to help if you wish - i did the live interactive lexar help thing and she gave me link to version 1.15 of that software, then you can upgrade to ver 2 from the website. i was also advised to definately format the card before use. Jez
Thanks Riz, that would be good if you could send me the link. I tried to find it on the web after I formatted it but could not find it anywhere.
