Waylander
got me a new Lexar 1gb 80cf card. i took 54 images on the 32mb card that came with th camera on "M2/F" settings settings: resolution = L [2592x1944] (for "larger than A4 prints") M1 = 2048x1536 (for "upto A4 sized prints) M2 = 1600x1200 (for "postcard sized prints) but there is also compression: s= superfine (for higher quality images) f=fine for normal quality images n= normal (for "more images) now with L/F i get 689 images on the card, M1/F = 1076 L/S = 387, M1/S= 601 so which setting do you guys recommend? s4dreamer
I would always go for the best resolution/quality the camera can do. You never know when you might want to enlarge a portion of the image, and the last thing you want is pixellated picture of your kids doing something wonderful! Paul
I take everything on super fine and highest resolution. even if emailing or uploading to the web. resizing is a doddle with the widows resizer powertoy.
