Classic Car Insurance

It's worrying that anything over 10 years old might be called a "classic". In my day they were called bangers.

On topic, some insurers let you use your no claims on two policies which makes sense because if you have an accident in one car, you still need to declare against the other vehicles cover!

Norwich Union covered me competitively for two cars, but "More Than" gave the best quote at renewal. I don't pay much more than the cost of road tax to insure my new A4 TDi Sport Avant with them.

As far as I'm aware, it's 20 Years although, some short production models, say less than 300 built a year quilify too (again, not sure of the actual numbers)... so obviously my 35 year old Charger gets classic car status but so did my 17 year old Lotus Excel.

RH Insurnace, plastered across Classic and Sports Car Magazine are probably the best to speak too... shout if you want their details, I can't be assed to find 'em right now...
