flyfs6
It was only supposed to be a routine trip to my local Shell station to fill her up with Optimax. So I took the R32 out of her garage and we set off. I got on the dual carriage way and started cruising along until I hit a set of traffic lights where I have a Clio 182 in front of me. Now I know these things are quick because a feiend has one and her Clio is crazy. Also after hearing Gtifly's account my doubts were confirmed. We started rolling and the 182 was in front of me. I could see the driver checking his rear view mirror and then he floored it like mad. So did I and at about 60mph he had to move out to let me go. He still chased me for another 3-4 miles until I had to turn off. Every time I'd find an open stretch I was able to leave him for dead and the Clio would follow chase. Those little Clio's are true pocket rockets. Importantly the Clio driver flashed his hazards and gave thumbs up! Now for second part of the story, after filling up I was on my way back home. Going around the round about I saw a Nissan Skyline GTR33 alongside me, it was a rare Midnight Purple one as well. Oh well we both go onto the dual carriage way, he had a car in front of him in the left lane and I thought I'd hold back because I knew this guy would floor it. I let him in front and it was a smooth run to the next traffic lights where I was behind him again and a car in front of us. From here there was a mile or so stretch of road until the next round about. Traffic lights changed and this skyline was right up the poor 206's bumper and I could hear the car was still in second gear ready to floor it. 206 moved over fast and the chase started. The Skyline was in front of me and I was then right up his bumper...until his turbo's kicked in a he started making a gap in between us. I was flooring my R32 with traction off as hard as I could because I wanted to play. Over this whole mile or so I was at the most 60yards behind this skyline. I could hear him giving all he could to his car and man it sounded awesome. Combination of skyline and R32 milltek exhaust were making some noise on the dual carriage way. Even I'd hit double figures by then, so God knows what he was hitting. Man that was some trip...but the Skyline driver and I had a chat afterwards. He was impressed with the R32 and both of us were surprised that I was able to chase him all the way. He did say his Skyline was modified and he kept popping that flame thrower thing whilst racing. Much like what I was doing to the Clio earlier, the Skyline driver had done to me That was one trip and a half. I enjoyed it very much and importantly both drivers acknowledged me...which is hard to come by these days. It was also a nice reminder of how special the car is...its sad that I will have to let go of it one day, sooner or later.
MattR32
Nice story! Glad to see you are up for it but also realistic! Impressed how well you did against the Skyline too.

flyfs6
I just made a short stop at the post office, upon leaving the post office spotted a rather nice facelifted 325i sport with xenons etc driving the a proper maniac and the driver smoking a little something. So thought I'd teach Mr Bmw a lesson and so I did. LOL! I really ought to stop this
