helfinger
Hi Sorry its been so long since i got back to you been having problems loging into the site can only access this url on a dial up connection, can't get on for love nor money on my works connection and at home for some reasion? anyway.... i will be posting the review very shortly...and believe me the Stage 4 is up to much!!! it pulls like a B****** i tell you....i always want more power...the only reasion i'm considering a supercharger is that i have decided that i'm going to keep this car for a lot longer than i anticipated as i love it so much!! so i thought i would see if i could get the magic 400bhp mark....also to mod this car still would be a hell of a lot cheaper than me buying the only car i would swop it for.... The review will be very soon....also i will be posting my views on my new KW'Coilovers as well as i need them now having the stage 4..... wont be long..... BigMeanBob
There was a bolt on supercharger kit for the R32 floating around about a year or so ago. I think Jimmy @Star may have had one that he bought in for CraigR. Think the supercahrger was making just over 300 from what I remember. The kit was supposedly bolt on yourself in under 10 hours. Also easily removable if you wanted to in the future. Seems like a nice idea, a bit less invasive than the turbo. Plus the car retains its normal drive, as the supercharger tends just to increase the power through most of the band, as opposed to the Tubro which brings it in higher up. mattcony
Yer the SC was for CraigR as I enquired not too long back, but due to his ban he never fitted it. From stock to stage 1 or 2 SC is a nice jump, but AMD stage 4 to SC won't be too much of a big hike, Will be smooth and DIY bolt on has its advantages, also read belt slip is a problem now on stage 2 and up kits. Turbo stage 1 with no intercooler is ment to be 350 and stage 2 with a front intercooler is 400bhp with scope for more later (all what I have got from Vortex). If your keeping it Turbo it cheers matt
