cruiser647
Wow, have you seen the French beasty in Auto Express? Looking good. V12 front engine rear drive. Looking real sharp! I would cut'n'paste, but the link would include my userid logon! But go the Auto Express and have a look!
Mollox
The guy driving the autocar journo nearly killed him in it! And is that the same guy that builds the peugeot-powered le mans cars??
ian_m
but its still only a peugeot

loddrik
Think of the depreciation, french cars with 6 cylinders lose money at a frightening rate, can you imagine a 12 cyl car??!!
carfiend
I will not rise the peugeot comment as it is true (I spend more time under the car than in it!) but the 907 will never ever be made mainly because pug only want to make safe, family barges and let clitreon make cheap family cars and flabby luke warm hatches to further ruin legend of the 205 gti damn them all! blackjack
It looks like a darned cool car, but I suspect it will never get made as PSA have neither the prestige brand or the balls to put it on the market. This to my mind is a shame as Pug would probably do a decent job of making it.
cruiser647
Yeah, that's the kiddie! Lovely motor. very stylish!
malagus
Loving that. If it can be made fairly cheap ( sub £75,000) there will be a market methinks. maybe a mini version with a v6 at around £35,000?

Agoogy
Reminds me of those monkeys with the long floppy noses. Proboscis Monkey is it? Doesn't really push things forward does it... didsburychief
I don't really understand all the fuss being made about this car, it's an old concept, was shown some time last year - and there's no way Peugeot will build it. I suspect it's only been shown again to promote the new 407 coupe.
Sipperana
The grille suits that car far more than it does the 407. Looks nice there. Mind you I'm still a fan of the 406 Pininfarina coupe. That's my next motor.

carfiend
Yes the Caped Commander would gladly take that as his chariot of Justice. Lots of room to fit the oil slick dispenser, rockets and under head light machine guns
JCCH
What an astonishingly pointless crate. Assuming that it exists and it isn't just the usual AE Photoshop lash up (which the massive Pug badge would suggest) why have they chosen to fit the bonnet from a Beetle? Kind of apt when you think about it for long enough.
carfiend
Its a real concept car but it will never be made as its not a family friendly diesel
Agoogy
Just seen it in this months' EVO...urrgghh. Isn't it amazing what a motorshow platform with decent lighting can do for a car....was there a point to this thing? So much expense to produce a last hurrah from a design studio... great. carfiend
Its to get people to buy more 1007 and 107s... my 106 is ashamed of its younger brothers
Agoogy
I think most companies recognise that a successful motorsport campaign or a concept car that make it to production are the real 'halo' modles that increase sales of lesser cars... think 205-T16. One offs like this prove nowt. "Look at what we could do!...we won't..but we could!" grabs people's attention, makes them take a look at the brand, there's nothing there that even resembles the 907 so they look elsewhere. People in the market for 1007 won't be interested in the 907 and anyone with enough cash for 907 type car wouldn't spend it Peugeot.... I Love concept cars that point to the future or are just models even, but fully running bespoke flights of fantasy like this are boring and thankfully rare... Bring on Diamonds and Spades, specially the diesel one. DO IT a proper sports diesel....
SlickDizzy
[ QUOTE ] Bring on Diamonds and Spades, specially the diesel one. DO IT a proper sports diesel.... [/ QUOTE ] My idiot friend was trying to convince me that the BMW 1-series diesels were real, authentic diesel sports cars. I kind of laughed and cried at the same time.
