Chav
Guys, This bling malarky is all well and good, but we spend most of our time inside the car! So I think we should have a group brainstorm on internal blings <-- mr thinking cap Here's one i was thinking of for starters... I haven't got the interior light pack. I reckon its going to take only some basic DIY to put it in? eg... maybe the wires are in place already in the doors, footwells and we just need to have a play. we could do a group investigation coupled with the assistance of someone that has it, and work out the easiest retro-fit way to do it? also does our A4 squad have any other suggestions/tips for useful interior bling? UBM
I'd love it, but the interior light pask used to have vanity mirror lights too. I'd be game to retro fit in mine! Other interior bling : changing the fascia and trim (e.g. black to aluminium; S-line gear knob and surround gaiter; Storage pack - someone was looking into this a few weeks ago... Chav
the cab has mirror lights as standard. not sure what extra the light pack gives to them on the cab. do you not have mirror lights at all then DM? My s-line did, and i didnt have the light pack?

Chav
another one i'm interested in, is some way to control audio volume/cd track without using the head unit. i dont want the multifunction wheel though because i love the 3 spoke leather. Chav
[ QUOTE ] No... [/ QUOTE ] ok, is there a blanking plate or something where the light would go, or is the whole headrail different? pics may help?
UBM
Now I have got one of those (3-spoke leather!)
UBM
I used to have them on my first 90BHP TDI (brrrmm!), if you flicked the visor down, the mirrors were exposed by lifting a flap and a light was there. Not had them in my last two 130 sports. The current mirror just has a sliding guard which moves sideways to expose the mirror.

UBM
[ QUOTE ] Light pack ? Bling ? How dare you! [/ QUOTE ] Hmm - light pack not chavvish, but I can see something in the picture that is... ...and it's not foggy!
GCab
The foglights are in fact the "follow-me home" lights - which you get with the auto-dimming rear view mirror, so you do get them at night when you get out ; it's the main lights that "shouldn't" be on and show I've left the car with the keys in the ignition... . the rest of it's legit Chavrio (that's gotta hurt...) - I'll try, these are old pics and I haven't got round to setting up the camera (or card reader) with my new PC yet... but I'll see what I can do
UBM
GCab - please accept my apologies! Follow me home would be useless for me - the driveway is down the side of the house!
Phantom
ChavJ, I thought it was time you established your own Guild to rival DM's. Looks as though DM's Guild will look after exterior mods and your's will take care of internal mods ! So as everything on your profile has gone all Chav I thought this might be appropriate for you ! UBM
Top one! Quick, shrink it down to 40% though before adding to your sig - or perhaps someone else can help do it for you...
