tuffty
Just replaced the HU in my bose'ed up S3 with an alpine jobbie, am using the autoleads converter which uses the pre-outs from the HU, but now whenever i change track or station i get a loud pop through the speakers. I know the HU is fine as it didn't do it in my old car, tho admitedly it wasn't in an audi. anyone got any idears
Chav
is the converter suitable for use with BOSE speakers? ...different ohm rating than standard.
tuffty
Well it said for use with Bose on the box, so i assume so. the ohm rating only comes into effect after the amp, is irrelevent at pre-out level.
Tomk
ahh this old problem , this happends with the choice of leeds, i was told not to use the leads that use the pre-outs as it causes this problem, get the set that uses the existing speaker wire and it will cure it i use an alpine head unit and used the other autoleads pack and it works fine
