Chav
Welcome vtrsp1! My 3.0 FWD has used 1 litre in 27K miles.... It needed that after 9K miles I think.... I topped up with the oil provided in the boot in the nice leatherette holder. The oil was changed when serviced at 19K as I'm on standard AVS, and not needed to add any more. Avus_Bub
Hello. Just for the record the car has done 4500mls now and used about 1/3 of a litre. I trust from your name you're a sp owner and will know how much they drink!!!

Avus_Bub
That's a shame M8 . Entering my fourth year of ownership 10k miles - Fast road and two or three trackdays and drinks about a litre every 1500-2000 miles......Get's changed every 2k anyway! Anyway I digress ... Shame about your 3.0 you sure its blue smoke and not just black from cold starts? Have read the 2.4 likes a drop or two, too. There is a lot to be said for letting the motor warm up for at least 10 mins before giving it some.
