tjet
Can anyone recommend an M3 alloy wheel refurbisher. My 2 rear 19" polished e46 wheels need doing and although far from bad, I want to ensure that they have the same finish as new (which I strongly believe is possible). Anyone got any suggestions? Could use someone in the Shropshire area who has a good reputation. The car is going to the main dealer (choke) for it's inspection 1 service on the 2nd March, and they've quoted £250 (not sure if inc/ vat or not) though they stated that they only do the outer edge of the wheel. That just made me wonder how good their "effort" would atually be when I got the car back! I'd be a bit hacked off if they weren't perfect! Consequently, I don't wanna use'em! loddrik
Dunno where you are but Proclean in Prescot on Merseyside are good, used by Williams BMW, £30 per wheel.
JamesB
My local (Wycombe) wicked wheels did a very good job on my S4 alloys and I've generally heard good things about them as an organisation. As Lodders implies, local knowledge is probably best - where do you need to get them done?
