Big_Dan
I love the interior ... Wonder if VagParts will do the wheel?
Ari
It looks fantastic. Like the wheel, but not the aluminium section at the bottom (do't mind the spokes). And when are Audi going to properly integrate the mobile phone? Everyone has one these days, its not like its an unusual item. My fathers E Class has a section in the centre armrest. You drop the phone into a holster (which charges it), close the lid and its gone. All the main phone information (phone book, incoming call name or number etc) is displayed clearly within the display in the centre of the speedo (a little like radio station on the DIS in an Audi) and calls can be made, received, phone book scrolled through etc via steering wheel buttons. So much easier to use and neater than sticking the phone on a bracket in full view and operating the phones tiny buttons (and trying to see the display)whilst driving. The Merc even has a numeric keyboard as part of the centre console for dialling numbers not in the memory.
LeBigLetomski
I still prefer carcits where you can take the phone out. If you have a second simcard for the car you have to turn off you mobile phone everytime you enter the car, and turn it back on when you get out. Ari
You can take it out with this system, the phone just clicks into a holder in the centre armrest, thats all you do. Click it in when you get in, click it back out when you leave the car. No removing SIM cards or switching phones on and off.

Sparky
I'm the only one to disagree then. It doesn't look mean enough to be an RS 4. Nice, but could be nicer!
bearra
Agree Sparky, it's more S4 than RS4 beast!
A3Floyd
I'm with you too, Sparky. It just doesn't look mean enough IMO. The old RS4 was in yer face, this was looks very lame in comparison. There's too much that i dont like about it: 1. the rear lights - still cant get used to them 2. Steering wheel looks very Max Power 3. Wheels dont look as good as previous Audi beauties. 4. Arches are not wide enough!
Sparky
Yeah. I think it looks too japanese now. It's been toned down too much and it's losing its identity. I was planning to get an S4 shortly, but I'm not sure I want to lose the B6 shape to the B7. I had high expectations for the RS 4, but well - I guess we'll wait and see. They might face lift it so many years into it's life like they did with the B6.
UBM
Quite like it myself, but it has lost all of the machoism surrounding an RS car. It looks, well, sort of camp!
Sparky
Have you just said you like camp cars there DM? Sounds like you're wanting to tell us something???
Ari
You didn't know...? Surely all that "jewellary" on his car gave you a clue...?? ;-D
UBM
Just thinking aloud! Quite liked it at first glance, but it really has lost the testicles it once had in an earlier life. And no, I don't have a passion for camp cars, else I'd have bought a 1-series...

Milo
I have to be honest and say I am not clued up on the RS4. What do you get versus the S4? Is it mechanically better/faster or is it just cosmetic? And at what cost?

Milo
The write-up makes it sound like one beast of a car. What premium do you pay now for an RS4 over an S4? I don't know why I'm even asking 'cos if an S4 is out of my range then looking at the RS4 just makes me sad.
Sparky
An RS4 costs approx £1,189,152.11 But I think you can get 5% off if you order early.
