Mollox
Is the current thinking that Eagle GSD3's are still the best tyres for the S3? Are GSD3s still the latest eagle tread?

Mollox
So who's got a recent quote for a 225/45 ZR17 Eagle GSD3s? Just phoned my local place who asked for £540 fitted. I laughed and said I got my last set for £364 and they were prepared to come down to £400 (just like that) but I need something in writing to get them to come down and match... Tomk
ok got the F1's fitted, must say they look the dogs , but they are so slippery ! was like driving on ice round corners! how long do these things take to bed in and i have some grip ??? bear in mind to it was very wet and slipp too on the way home,
Scotty
I found that I needed about £250 before the really worked. Having said that they weren't terrible out of the box. Maybe it was just the conditions... and a little of the tyre release agent.
Hopsta
Assume you mean 250 miles scotty not pounds I thought the GSD3's were the best tyres on my S3 out of the RE040/Toyo Proxy T1S/GSD's. Bracknell Batt and Tyre are pretty cheap, surprised you've not tried there. Graham

Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 225/40 R18 Z (x 4) £122.92 each fitted inc vat [ QUOTE ] Black Circles price guarantee The price you see here is the final price you pay; this is an all inclusive quote. rjgreen4
Tunnel tyres, Wirral (Birkenhead) £480, fitted, if pushed they would probably drop further. I had mine fitted last week but can't try them out yet as the car is in the garage having some minor bodywork repaired after some bint hit the side and then chose to drive off.
