Life without tuning box

OK - the analogue box which I had been enjoying so much for the past few months simply fixes onto the fuel temperature sender circuit, which over-rides the signal sent and supplies more fuel to the engine - hence it burns more and gives more power. The digital box works by re-mapping in real time the signal from the ECU and the fuel unit. It can be set on 7 different settings to give power, economy or torque. I think it is better in the long run, but neither are reported to adversely damage your engine.

Yes I would, as I think the problem was caused by me flooring it with my foot on the clutch/and/or a dodgy contact. I'd be more inclined to use a digital box as the analogue box is either on or off. The digital box has several different settings. But yes, I'd fit again!
