Decked
Well, i've finally decided to have the Milltek, un-silenced exhaust fitted to my car. Quick question, I know the exhaust flapper/valve senser has to be removed and can cause faults to appear on the dash (when it wants, it can be up to 4-6 months after install). Does anyone know how to resolve this? I've heard you can get a resistor fitted, does anyone know how, where, what type etc, or another way round it? And can AMD fit this resistor if needed? Gti_Fly
The vacuum hose is simply plugged up and zip tied back to the wheel arch liner. Nothing else needs doing. The exhaust fitter should do this for you anyway
FiftyPence
ditto. i have had my milltek fitted for a while now and have had no problems with the way the vacuum hose was taken care of.

anthdodds
would you be interested in selling your standard pipe when it comes off to make way for your new un?
BigMeanBob
My sensor has went (around 6 months after the miltek). I just need to take it back to star and get it switched with a resistor. Can't remember the resistor value off the top of my head though.
