Chav
Just noticed my cab is grey now with white highlights. Not a trace of black anywhere. (was dark when i last saw it). Good old salt. Hmm... oh well, sun's shining again now, and I like washing the car. No rest for the wicked...
Sparky
Wish I was at home able to wash my car, rather than being stuck at work....
Chav
Hey I work too, but from home mostly. So I can spend my lunchbreak pampering the cab.... you could always take a bucket and sponge to work for your lunchbreak? (To wash the car with, not eat, by the way)

Chav
Don't worry I'm safe. Only took 10 mins to wash.... I was going to have a go at polishing the exhausts. Then I realised my fingers wouldn't bend anymore ...it's a tad nippy out there.

It takes me 10 minutes to wash the car (including putting tyre slik and wheel cleaner on) and thats all she gets. Of course, its a black car, so I do this 3 times a week usually :-) In the summer, I'll maybe give it a quick cham if i'm feeling generous. Milo
I kinda like the B7 looks now. I've spent enough time looking at the brochures now to come to terms with it. If only the s-line kept it's boot spoiler I might be tempted to call in for a test drive...... <insert I WANT A NEW CAR smiley>

Milo
[ QUOTE ] Bet you don't polish every other week like me... [/ QUOTE ] Only once a fortnight...tut tut! mmmm no you're right. I usually do it every 3 weeks (less in winter more in summer). I like the smooth feel it leaves on the paintwork rather than the washed and chamoised feel. I wash it at least twice a week usually 3, but save Fridays for the tender loving care - tyres, wheels, door sills, engine cover, windowlene the interior etc. The joy of working from home - Friday is car day! Milo
It's bonus time next month and I'm getting edgy. Definitely decided on petrol next time but haven't completely ruled out a cab. Before you try to convince me it's the practicalities of the cab for my situation that is stopping me. My heart says B6 cab, my head (and wallet) say B7 saloon. I'm off to study my brochures again!
