[/ QUOTE ] Jesus, that must be an absolute c**t to source parts for! One of my friends had air con failure in their S2. I mean how many Audi 80s had air con!? Only really the RS2 and S2. Finding new parts took time, all fixed now, but summer 2003 was sticky without - most grateful for the sunroof! Replacement bits for the S1 must be pretty much like trying to find rocking horse sh!t. Insurance Jon
your right. 1 x new chassis leg fabricating for this particular one was £18k, this is because of the SWB each one was made by hand inthe first place meaning no spares. 1 x slam panel a staggering £8k 1 x new grill insert moulding from scratch int he original material was £3k. It's put me off saving up for one (yes I was considering it too). a full run of these babies were made, I feel sorry for the lancia s4 owners apparantly they are even more to maintain!
