I am looking for inspiration. Have just got my Phatbox mounted in the boot of a B6 Avant, in that little storage area on the passengers side. As I am planning to put a Nav Plus in next week and a DVD player for it I am wondering where and how people mount their stuff. I mean if you have say a DVD Changer, TV Tuner, Phat box etc you just can't get it all in the glovebox and the B6 doesn't seem to come with any fixings in the boot area.

I am sure some other A4 B6 owners have come up with some classy solutions and am hoping they might post some.

Thanks

ive just had sat nav fitted in my b6 avant hoping next to put in tvs in the headrests and and dvd player [single din ] in the glove box on the shelf also got a 20gb ipod connected up via a dension ice link and is placed under the arm rest was rthinking of a dvd changer but kids will never be in car for as long to watch 6disc,s and it will be alot easier to change disc from the front

Agree it would be good to swap DVD's up front to keep the rugrats content. Sadly I have no arm rest.

However I talked to VAGparts today who were very helpful and I have ordered some kind of thing that goes in the load area to house a Satnav box for the type without the screen and I am hoping this may go someway towards solving the problem.

What sort of DVD did you get, I am thinking of the Veba compact one for about a £100ish.

havn,t decide yet ive had vecvox and sony before in uther cars but were drop down screens and one dvd player was a boot mounted and covered which was a pain when the boot had stuff in it to change and the last one was in the dash pyle i think i was but it didn,t have a detachable cover on it and in this type of weather condensation builts up inside and the laser cant read the disc till its evaporated .So this time its one with a cover on it centurion have a good one and ive seen it in the shop that fitted my sat nav and the guys rates it well .Also have a look at these guys [locol to me in scotland ] good prices as well www.tgincar.com just got to get the funds released from the wife lol
