Paul
I previously had been running the old spring with a 3 mm spacer… to firm things up abit. spacer also known as "shimming" ie packing it out to make valve shut quicker and open slower.. Spacers now been removed, now spring has been revised...

Paul
I think AmD charge a small amount, if they have to package them up and post them out. Ring Ed, on the front desk to confirm.

Paul
For clarity, The revised spring is an optional extra, and not part of the normal service kit. (contact Ed about the spring) and it seems the lid screws have also been dropped from the service kit too, although you wouldnt have needed these unless A. you were an animal and rounded them off, or B. you lost one. harj
Is this only for a AMD DV or can i use the same instructions for my FORGE DV? Also, how often do i need to service the thing?
Paul
this is for a AMD viper. Forge will be simialr, but have their own instructions if you ask forge, as some of their DV's are diaphram and some are piston type.
