MOSE
Would never have thought that BMW would release the next M3 as a FOUR DOOR?? HHmmmmmmm. Take a look at this pic, somehow looks a bit more realistic in this pic. RED E90 M3 (COUPE)
CarMad
Deffo comming as a 4 door. Looks good to me. I think a bit of work has been done on the 4 door picture on the bonnet raise I think. Everything else looks good IMO. RS4 and new M3 head to head is going to be really interesting. MOSE
Didnt realise that the pic I put up had already been posted. The four door is a good looking car, shame about the rear of it mind you. Prefer the red coupe pic that is floating about. That does look very nice. WANT ONE almost as badly as I want a M3 GTR
Thorburn
iirc the Coupe and Convertible will be called the M4, the M3 will be 4-door and MAYBE estate. All just rumors of course, but there was an E36 saloon so can't see why not an E90
NewNiceMrMe
The M3 will be available in 4 door Saloon, 2 door Coupe, 2 door Convertible AND possibly a Touring format although this is currently thought to be highly unlikely (but there WILL be a Touring M5). There will be no M4. They have dropped the idea completely.
CarMad
Nope. BMW have cancelled the idea of calling it an M4. To much marketing to do etc. to get the new model noticed. All models, Cab,coupe, estate and saloon will be called 3 Series as they always have.

nick1972
Nice pic I am looking forward to receiving my one already! Order placed at Barons in Farnborough. I have always had M3's in Imola Red so this point maybe a bit biased. BMW always show the press shots in Imola red because it looks fantastic in that colour.....why is it then that buyers go for boring silver or black in most cases? And its not down to resale values either, Imola resells very well.
MOSE
Barons of Farnborough was where I placed my order for my M3 and incidently they advised me AGAINST ordering an Imola Red Car.
nick1972
[ QUOTE ] And incidently they advised me AGAINST ordering an Imola Red Car. [/ QUOTE ] Fair enough, but say that quote back to yourself....it's not them buying the car, its you! If the car looks good in your opinion and it happens to be red( or any other colour) then buy it. I looks f..in good in the mocked up picture. I've lost count of the times people have said to me "Oh I wish I got mine in red now, but the dealer said......." MOSE
I know....I WANTED an imola red car with black interior, but setlled for the complete reverse. NEXT TIME round I will get it!! I pass Barons every day on way to work and have nver seen an red M3 on the forecourt. They do have a red M3 coupe in the showroom though!
MOSE
I pulled up for juice at my local Sainsburys today and there was an Imola Red M3 with grey interiror and personally I think it looked fantastic. Have seen another with black interior which was nice as well. Today, I have got a 54 330ci, Black with champagne leather interior, and it is growing on me very quickly, it is a gorgeous combination. But when I enquired about it when buying my M3 again I was advised strongly about having that colour interior, and here I am driving a loan vehicle from my local dealer in a colour that they advised against. Next time into buying a car I will buy whatever colour I like, and right at this time I fancy Cerese?? Pink with champagne interior just to be DIFFERENT!!
