geo_nr1
I was really wanting something different. I never really considered the Milltek as although it is a differernt exhaust....I felt that the tail pipes were too similar(as in the folded metal edge) to the stock. Ross, I love the stock and wouldn't have changed it if it wasnt for the fact that my passanger side pipe is unable to clean up at all, that was the clincher, I have tried everything (Mr Muscle, Dremmel with metal buffer, even sought to get it changed under warranty with no success). Dont get me wrong, I have never complained about the noise at 60mph it never really bothered me, whether that is because I have music on all the time I am not sure. I managed to get it off of e-bay from BF themselves. All in £275, cant complain at that.....were you my bidding buddy?
RossG
LOL - I would need to actually get myself a bloomin R first of all
geo_nr1
Thanks to SixDegrees and his Bro, I now have the pleasure of a Blue Flame installed!! Sound is more refined than the stock and sounds that bit better when pulling away! (Ask Bret...he heard it in motion!) Should have seen the looks I was getting driving home, stuck in traffic and in the inside lane then pulling away.....not sure what other people thought they were hearing, it was like thunder IMO. So all in all a big Also managed to give the car a good polish yesterday, so looking good.
R32TIM
top job...any pics...how easy/hard to install? also want a 'different' exhaust blueflame may just fit the bill.
geo_nr1
I didn't do the fitting, but seems relatively easy. Hardest part was unscrewing the bolts which held the old "mid section" on (OEM is 1 piece system)and sliding the rubbers off. Struggling to get pics posted....but will try. [/ QUOTE ] We didn't use ramps (or my BRuv didn't, cos this time I was out and about), just need a trolley jack and axle stands. Get the rear end up nice and high and theres plenty of room under the R32.
R32TIM
right then....all i need to do know is decide Blueflame or miltek?....Miltek seems expensive and agree it does look similar to stock...but the main problem is that I haven't heard either...(apart from N3WOB's Miltek around Leighton Buzzard.. )..i'm going to make every effort to get to the next meet...don't care which one...as long as theres a full compliment of R's......
