08tc10
All night long the alarm on my S3 has been going off (Very upset neighbours). I tried to use the key fob to turn it off, which it would for 5 mins, then the alarm would go off again. I disarmed the internal sensors but that didn't work either. I tried to use the key in the door but the alarm just armed itself and would go off again. Please, please, please tell me how to lock the car but without the alarm being armed... I'm knackered!!!!! jsheldon
For future, you have to open the passenger door, then lock using the switch on the drivers door, then shut the passenger door, voila, locked without the alarm being set-its the only way. I've had the same problem, dealer diagnosed as bonnet switch, quoted 1 hour to replace, did it my self in 10 mins, chatting to a neighbour whilst I did it!! Problem is it didn't cure it. So leaned into boot, behind bose amp, gave the cables that go into the alarm control unit a good wiggle, been fine ever since. Must have been a dodgey connection on the wire that goes to the bonnet switch.
