TP27
I'm in the same boat. Thought I'd found a source late last year but nothing came of it. Come on VW, sort it!! Stealer says I can have ordinary black VW Carpet Mats instead for £35!! Yea, right!!

geo_nr1
I have approval for use of the logos from VW...no probs to get it, and Justmatz is my contact who will make basically what you want.....hence my post a few months ago about what colour of piping I should go for. I dont think TSN get discount with them, but if you are a member of UK Mk IV's you get 10% discount! These guys made mats for Gadgets red R....now owned by Doc on MkIV's. MkIV's number of members is about to shoot through the roof!!!!! I contacted VW and created a real fuss....in the end no joy (surprise surprise) and they told me that they are no longer manufacturing the mats and never will! R32TIM
can justmatz produce original looking mats.....they could use mine as the template and re-use as much of them as they like..... ...who do i need to speak to? cheers, tim
geo_nr1
Justmatz will only make you them if you have copyright approval from VW. They got into trouble from VW before for making mats without approval. Get permission from VW, they give permission no problem at all!

shao_khan
I invited the Dude from Just Matz to come along here when he brought some wheels from me, never bothered, but a couple of guys did have indifferent experiences of the product. I did notice that Justmatz said that they now make mats for the R.....but after calling to ask them about it they said it was only once copyright had been obtained by the purchaser. mooret
Guys & Gals - DON'T BUY NEW MATS Go to the dealer and complain that the mats have worn through and ask for replacement items under warranty. A couple of years back I had a Passat TDi sport and went through 2 sets of mats whilst it was under warranty. Dont let VW get away with supplying below standard items. Get VW to pay for them. wrh3
I am thinking about getting these to alleviate the mat wear issue on the driver's side: http://www.ultimatepedals.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=153_157&products_id=2835 They bolt to the mats and look racy....and if you like they can even engrave a .:R on it
wrh3
Here is one place to get new ones but they have the round retainers rather than the oval ones I have in my car: http://drivergear.vw.com/store/accessory...oduct%5Fid=2931

N15KJS
I have just picked a Volkswagen Accessories booklet up and there is a section for 'R-Line ' Styling which shows these mats and other accessories with the R badging. So unless they are not making them anymore they are still listing them as a optional accessory. They are on page 24 of the book, didn't ask at the dealer but may be worth a phone call for you guys as £65 is a little expensive. Nick
wrh3
The R-Line mats from VWDriver over here in the US are $171, not cheap....maybe you can find someone who chucked theirs to install monster mats and wants to sell....

1monty
Those of you changing mats and fixings, does anyone have a couple of the original type fixings spare? My carpets are ok but not fixed at the rear so need 2 extra fixings (have 2 already). Price of a drink in exchange!
