Well, got the motor washed off (40 mins Chav!) and cleaned yesterday ready for some action. Went out for dinner last night and staggered home at 2-30am, feeling alittle worse for wear to be honest.

Still managed to get some pics, but the cruise was postponed.

Today, Mrs UBM and I have been mostly...

I didn't dare to drive until after 2 today and even then it was to a car park about 600 yds away!

After I got back we popped open some wine and spent a relaxing 3 hours in the garden enjoying the sun while the kids played football. Ah, Sundays. coffee.gif

Had an excellent cruise around Chavshire today, Macclesfield, the weather was stunning grin.gif

Went up to a friend's house for the weekend and went for a spin in his Porsche 356 Californian Speedster , admittedley a replica but it looks totally genuine cool.gif It was interesting driving in the 356 and then getting back in my cab, you suddenly realise how open top motoring has evolved since the 60s when that car originally came out. Whereas the 356 was very involving and gave me a permanent grin on the face, the A4 cab was just so .........plain, afterwards. I am sure anyone who has been in a vintage convertible of any type will know what I mean.

Will post a pic up tomorrow 169144-ok.gif

Yeah it was a practice run for me to get the girlfriend use to driving in the open top cab grin.gif, she is now coming down to the meet too.

Trouble is she liked the 356 so much she would like to get a second hand 911 Turbo (old style) at some point in the future smashfreakB.gif, you win some you lose some !
