Does such a thing exist. Have some relatives who live on Hong Kong but also keep a place over here. What they would like to be able to do is have an ISP in the UK (Edinburgh) where thay could just phone them and say "we are in the country for 6 months, please switch us back on". The house is rented out most of the time (between rentals so they decided to come home for a few months as they have some work here) and they don't want to include BB as part of the rental terms. Just wonderin pengy.gif

Wouldn't have thought so, although I know that some ISP's have monthly contracts, but would imagince you'd pay a connection charge each time.

Only thing i can think of is someone like Metronet where their monthly cost is something like £11 for 200Mb then a really silly amount per meg after that (0.002p) comes to mind !

If there is BB on the line then the end user will need to know the login/p/words to get connected to the ISP.

What happens if their interim tennants want BB? You can only have 1 supplier per line IIRC, so would mean a seperate BT connection.
