Paul
I know of a website, claiming to be an ABT agent and tuner. (I am purposely not going to name them) I know for a fact that i wouldnt let them near my car , and i know alot of others on here that wouldnt either. They might be able to help you out with some gardening though.
Scotty
I got an IM from a guy saying that Audi UK are currently going through the process with Abt of setting them up as officially sanctioned tuners. I have no other knowledge of this and can't confirm or deny whether this is true or not. p.s. GGGGRRRRRRRR It is Abt and not ABT. It's pronounced as a word and not separate letters due to Abt being a guys surname. Sorry. I'm calm now! Sorry

Sorry [/ QUOTE ] Scotty old boy, on that very subject can you confirm if there is an actual "tuner friendly to Audi, and vice versa" single source tuning house in existance in the UK? I have been doing some digging around and have been told that this is not the case, even speaking to some of the larger Audi dealers country wide...for S4 / B6 / 2004 with a roof!!!tks, David

Some dealers are now offering tuning to people and they get recognised tuners to do the work. They then offer the option of a 3rd party warranty on the tuning work or more normally they suggest that they would turn a blind eye should something go wrong. Of course if you broke down elsewhere or it turned out to be very costly you'd more than likely be on your own as they never put this in writing. If the rumour about Abt is true then it would give those worried about warranties a tuning option. PaulS3 - Just for you : Abt Have a search and see it you can find "ABT" anywhere apart from their logo.

[/ QUOTE ] I had heard this, but was told Audi had abandonded the program for performance tuning due to the issues with type approval, but had gone to a wider approval for body styling, wheels to include Oettinger, Abt and MTM. Chrisg
I know that Oettinger ( in Germany) were approved middle of last year as Audi Partners. I understand that this means that they can service and carry out warranty work on the cars and it is approved by Audi ( may be part of this latest EU regs??)
