Keep the door flares on - they look good. However, if it was up to me I would paint them. It has always troubled me that Audi didn't paint them on the B6 S4s. It works for black, grey and moro blue but on red, yellow and the lighter blues (nogaro and sprint) I think it looks like an afterthought. At least with the B7 Audi have had a re-think.

Keep 'em, but paint them. Never mind what the wife or friends say - what do they know? wink.gif

thanks for the support guys but im still listening if anyone is interested, at least until next week as then they will most likely get painted while its in the shop.

18me - this is kinda what i am hearing from my friends, appreciate your opinion. i do think though if the car gets lowered and they get painted it will look great trouble is that more than i can afford right now and you know how it is when you have the idea in your head haha

I know I'm going to throw a spanner in the works here but IMO I think they do suit the S4 and S-Lines but not the bodykitted cars as I think it looks too much with them and the side skirts..

Sorry.

My car came with the GmbH body kit. It contains the door flares in the same colour as the car. I think they look good.

(crappy phone shot I'm afraid)

I'm not a fan of them on the black S4 ones on say a red car. confused.gif

Totally agree Sparky but you don't have the side skirts. I said side skirts and flares look too much.

My old car with side skirts and no flares. I have seen one like my old car with unpainted flares and it just look wrong.

I stand corrected. I was told I had side skirts by Dealer Monkey, but after seeing yours, I clearly don't!

Yeah, I'd agree (now that I know what I'm on about!). Side skirts and flares would be too much.
