PAUL982
i am just curious as to how big it is so i can budget for the coming months petrol as i am hoping to buy one this week thanks paul
Ari
Surely tank size is irrelevent when budgeting how much you'll spend on fuel. The car doesn't use any more or less cos the tank is bigger or smaller, just changes how often you need to fill it. You'll use whatever you use regardless. However for the record the current A4 holds 70 litres in 2wd form (regardless of engine size) and the quattro holds 66 litres (but uses more petrol!) Ari
Paul, Well if I run my tank really low I can just about get £50 worth of Optimax in it! Hope that helps!
MoroCab
I ran my cab for about 20 miles on Friday with 5 miles showing on the DIS!! When I finally thought I could push it no more I filled up at BP (97 RON - 81.9p/l) and it cost £55.47! So I reckon I had another 10 miles at least left! Ari
Thats quite reassuring, I'd rather it was pessimistic than optimistic, less chance of runnnig out then!
MoroCab
Oh I've run out in the past. My cab was 3 days old when that happened. Incorrectly calibrated fuel gauge.
