Thought you guys might find this interesting. It's the times around the ring, by a swedish magazine ( I think!)

... but it's all in German. confused.gif

The RS6 is looking quite respectable there! I wonder whether it's standard production?

Does anyone who has done the ring care to post the time and the car used?

It would be interesting to compare some of these times with TSN member's attempts.

Come on, someone must tell all 169144-ok.gif

grin.gif During the 2002 (can't find any more recent results) 24h Rennen Nurburgring race which is the GP circuit + Nordschleife = 25947 metres EEK2.GIF

Lady T's dad managed a 10:38.033 (E36 Group N M3) - not sure if this was day or night ! 169144-ok.gifnotworthy.gif

No wonder you like Mrs T, not only will she allow a Porker, but her dad will recount hours of driving over a dinner.

That's really well sorted. 169144-ok.gif

I would have thought any sub 12 minute laps would count as good.

grin.gif oh yes, plenty of driving tales - he's still bang on the pace driving with David Leslie in this years Britcars - not bad for someone in his early fifties - just can't see him playing golf for some reason ! 169144-ok.gif

grin.gif I reckon the combined GP circuit and nordschleife would have taken me about half an hour in the dark yelrotflmao.gif

I've got a video of me doing a 9'28 (bridge to gantry) in my TT in the wet....although later that weekend I said guten tag to the armco!

I can't believe my S4 is only 13 seconds quicker.

grin.gif Do you know how much longer the NS+GP circuits lap is than the bridge-to-gantry ? The TT Coupe in that race had a best lap of 10:52.446 169144-ok.gif

Anyone know what the asterisk (aktual.... something or other) is against the TT?

Is this an estimate or something? Sounds like actual but surely the rest can't be estimates.

PS I know that TTs are fantasticly fast wink.gif but surely an Exige is faster round the ring?

Yeah it is. You're looking at the '00 model but the '04 is 10 seconds quicker.

The difference will be that through the twisty sections the Lotus would take time out of the TT and on the long fast sections I'd expect it to be the other way around.
