CarMad
Yep read it. As you say its a good book. Great up to just over half way, then speeds to the end just a little quickly for my liking. His is a fantastic writer. I haven't read a dud of his yet.
DHA
Ending is very dissapointing. Previously had read Airframe which was great but I felt let down by prey.
Rachel
I didn't enjoy this one as much as Timeline i must admit.

Rachel
Nope - I think a Mr. Grisham was the author of that one...
DHA
Rachel is correct on Grisham doing the firm.
scooby_simon
Airframe great, Ditto Timeline- fantastic. I feel the last 20% of Prey was rushed - maybe he had a deadline ?
DHA
Yeah it did feel rushed you are right.
Woppum
Well timeline is next, I did a group amazon buy. Dont tell me what happens! It seems like a very easy read though, the pages fly by.
dq1
I also found the ending abit pants. I enjoyed Jurrasic Park, so much better than the film. After reading one of his books I find I've actually learnt something as they cover alot of science. If only learning in school science lessons was so much fun I mite have passed a GCSE
runflat
Timeline is definitely my favourite. The film is actually fairly decent too. Crichton is one of my favourite authors because he writes about many different things. I too like the science aspect of timeline/prey/jurassic etc.
Woppum
Im on to airframe now which is really stating to bore the pants off me. He can spen dtoo long focusing on minor details making you nod off in this book. Prey I enjoyed, I didn't mind the ending and give it a staedy 7/
DHA
If you work in the aviation industry Airframe is a better book as you have more of an understanding of what he is on about.
Woppum
He goes on and on about that stuipd counterfit part a propper . I might as well finnish it though.
CarMad
I quite liked Airframe I have to say. Disclosure is very good, but I am in IT and found it interesting from that stand point.
