Waylander
found a good deal for the k750i on vodaphone and am tempted. I know Voda put alot of crap in the software so wondered if anyone has had any problems with this phone with them?

NewNiceMrMe
True...but it's more IT/Audio/Visual/PC than anything else isn't it? I don't care....it was just a polite note in case you'd posted it here by mistake.
Waylander
i used to post all such in the IT bit and was about to now but then recalled the other post so assumed there had been a change of emphasis. Again, not really bothered if the mods want to move it - as long as peeps can give me the requisite info!
Thorburn
My friend had an S700 on Vodafone and hated it, so much that he's since bought a K750 sim-free! His main complaint was the fact it couldn't play MP3's as Vodafone want you to download their own stuff which is in a different format.
Omi
But there is a software flash available on the SonyEricsson website to resolve severe keypad lockup on early releases... This might just negate the Voda revisions. Oh, and it seems that setting the joystick directions as shortcuts only works until you reboot the phone, then they return to default. - Otherwise I like it enough to have ordered one and I'm alledgedly an expert... shark_90
I got a K750i without the vodafone software and I'm 100% happy with it. I had the software lockup afterkeypad lock that Omi mentioned, but the flash fixed that. Perhaps the flash will restore "original" software to the phone too? Oh, and the camera is EXCELLENT. See the "Some bastards have scratched my baby" thread, I took that picture with my phone on very average settings.. if you go the whole hog and set it to it's largest setting and the "Fine" option on, the pictures are nearly as good as my digicam. Waylander
i understand that Vodaphone have asked SE to stop distributing that software which works around the mp3 blocking issue. Russel where did you get your phone from? CPW doing a great offer of 9 months free line rental on a 12 month contract of voda xnet 200 on this K750i. (the phone i know i want, just finding a deal to suit; then will see how much orange want to keep me!) os apologies for my earlier "pms" about where to put this thread - was just in an ornery mood, is all
