JasT
It was good to see the R32 win both the races at Brands today And in the second race it started 4th but by the first corner was 5 car lengths in the lead - aaah the pleasure of 4WD! Also, was it anyone on here who was also parked on the South Bank in their R32?
FiftyPence
That R looks awesome, nice and low too. I see they have a Revo remap, i wonder if they have found it to actually give super amazing performance compared to a normal remap and what other mods the car is running. Daemon
[ QUOTE ] I see they have a Revo remap, i wonder if they have found it to actually give super amazing performance compared to a normal remap and what other mods the car is running. [/ QUOTE ] Odd that they're allowed any remap at all. Have they made an exception for the R32, or is the series HP limit still 240hp? Last I'd heard they pretty much weren't allowed any engine mods to the R32 or it'd push it over that limit. A chip is usually good for 7-10hp, and intake+chip about 15-17hp. ian
JasT
I think the limit is 250bhp? They have managed 260bhp from it tho', although they can't race with 260brake.
JasT
oh, and all the competitors seem to use Pirelli P-Zero tyres. Not sure if that's because they are good or because Pirelli sponsor them?!
Woppum
I seem to remember reading In CAR that the GTi in that series uses corsa's. Chewing gum rubber, im not supprised!
FiftyPence
I could be wrong, perhaps the Revo ad on the car isnt actually sported by the BBT.com R32 and its just an ad after all
JasT
No, you're right, REVO do the ECU for the racing R32. Funny because it has a superchips ad on it, which (i think) all of the cars have an ad for them (although most actually are chipped by superchips).
