mark_ty
is it possible to fit climatronc control to a mk 4 golf (with aircon) has anyone tried it ? is it possible ? cheers
Rustynuts
AFAIK, yes it can be done. But to be honest, I've had both, and I rather think the manual aircon is easier to use. The climate control just takes a lot of pressing buttons to adjust and the manual is just a twist of the dial. You know from the feel where the dials are set, and it's easy to change without looking, but the climate control has to be studied to work out where you are with it before you press the right button to change anything (not easy when you're driving). I'd not bother changing to climate control unless you really want the technical whizzbang of pressing buttons over turning dials.
