Lagoo
Bit girly... I went to see one at stratford OPC! Quite similar to the BMW Estoril Blue but for some reason on a boxster it just didnt look right IMO

Adam
Lagoo doesn't know his sports chrono but he does know his colours indeed a bit girlie and I prefer lapis if you must go all blue besides spending £1500 on Porsche paint is just silly on a £35k car (sounds like you are getting the 2.7) so always the intersting question on Porsches - what option boxes are you ticking? Adam
nice but I'd add auto climate (its only £300 and do you really want to arse about with manual tuning) and sports seats (agan cheap and much nicer than 986 versions) oh and 19"s (will stop now)
DHA
Sorry was getting sports seats. What the difference between a/c and the auto?
bazza_g
Normally a/c on its own you can just select warm/cold air conditioned air with a dial. The full climate control lets you set a specific temp which the car regulates itself to
Lagoo
[ QUOTE ] Lagoo doesn't know his sports chrono but he does know his colours [/ QUOTE ] Mate when you arent even use to traction control let alone chrono pack, PASM/PSAM then i think i deserve a little slack

Adam
settle down children and quiet at the back: PASM - works really well IMHO and not just a gadget. With PASM fitted a 987 rides 10mm lower (gaps are very big on 987 v 986). Normal or sport - sport firms up ride and damping within a range. Normal softer and range actually can make it softer than std - good for motorway then. Sports Chrono. Hmm not so sure about this one on my demo. Essentially it increases throttle response like the sport button on an M3 (can't you just press harder on the gas instead?), it retards the PSM (by 15% I think) (just turn it off if you want to?) and you get a natty little clock on the dash which times your laps (yeah right). Engaging sports mode on chrono auto engages sports mode of PASM. Sports chrono + PCM = sports chrono plus. Plot those ring times on your PCM (yeah right pt.2) class dismissed Lagoo - will you track your car?

[/ QUOTE ] do you mean BOSE or sound pack plus? recommend you get auto climate (what a con making this extra) if you added sports wheel, phone module and 2 tone grey leather its the same spec as mine when I was hovering over the dotted line
Lagoo
Thanks Teach! I have the sports chrono plus, i have the sports chrono plus, The S, if i have it long enought will be tracked!
