jules_s3
I've been single on & off for the past couple of years. I recently decided to employ a cleaner as i really can't be arsed to do it anymore. The cleaner arrived to have a look at my house etc and she was really fit!! To the extent that i would like to ask her out for a drink etc, but i am unsure as to whether to do so or not. I think this is because of how i've met her, if that makes sense!! Your help/advice/comments would be most welcome. Thank you.
Dave
Just ask her mate.. she'll reply in one of two way.. yes or no. It's no good wishing you had later on.. get it out of the way. Ask her if she fancies going out for a drink some evening, or say that you are planning to see "xxxxxx" at the cinema and don't fancy it on your own, etc etc good luck Dave

[/ QUOTE ] Ha ha. Yeah she is well fit, but not because i've been single. I was expecting a member from the over 60's hang gliding club to be honest so i was well surprised to see some fit, blonde, 24 year old on my door stop discussing cleaning etc!!! Most women i meet these days piss me right off within about 5 mins!! Mentalists........most of 'em!!
Omi
Thing is, if you 'get it on,' can you justifiably still pay her to clean your house? - Wouldn't that make her feel a bit demeaned? Best bet is to carry on with the cleaner/employer relationship, actually get to know each other, sit and have a coffee with her and make smalltalk for a few weeks and if you're still attracted to her after she's told you all about her family, other jobs, ex's, pets, etc etc... Then you can ask her if she'd fancy coming over one night and you'd make her dinner. Killing stroke, trust me.
randellp
I say go for it, you can always get another cleaner. Better still, if it works out, you may be able to negotiate a special rate for services rendered (your services that is).
saab
I'd make sure I was in the house when she came to clean the first couple of times. Use the opportunity to get to know her. After that you should have a good idea if she is likely to say yes if you ask her out!

Dave
I've got a classic.. clean the house top to toe before she comes round.. and when she does just tell her you were bored so you did the cleaning. Invite her out for lunch, walk etc etc.. hey presto.. no excuse not to go

delibird
Ever seen Love Actually, if not there is this bit where this guy and his cleaner fall in love with each other but haven't got the balls or the communication abilities to tell each other. It's really really sweet, so what I would say is go for it, and if she tells you to f*** off and the atmosphere is bad then find another cleaner
Calm Chris
I'd ask her to wear a little 'work wear' for the cleaning job. A little french maids outfit would be about right and make sure there's loads of stuff dropped on the floor. Just watch out that she doesn't take you to an employment tribunal for excessive sex suggestion in the work place!
