Bumber Repairs

Had an interesting one the other day. Driving home from work when my exhaust fell off. After a brief look under the car I decided to try and drive around the corner to get out the way of the friday afternoon traffic, at which point the exhaust got wedged, pole-voted the back of my car in the air and smashed through the rear bumber

Afterwards I decided it may have been better to take the exhaust off first

Anyway, as it's an old car and not worth much I wondered if it would be possible to repair the existing plastic bumper to save buying a new one and respraying etc.

Has anyone had any experience of this. I am after a company in the Birmingham area if anybody knows of one.

Not too sure mate, but I'd try a breakers yard for a replacement bumper of the same colour, might be cheaper than getting the thing fixed by a specialist plastic welder.

Plastic welding is all part of the Smart Repair process, should get the job done for under £150.

Thanks for the help guys. I had heard of chipsaway but didn't realise they did plastic bumber repairs once cracked. I'll look into second hand bumpers as well as this is literally an old run around. the cars only worth about £600 so just want to tidy it up.
