felixthecat1
I've just remembered that I ordered a small part, interior trim for my Passat last year, just before Christmas, and I've never heard back from them. I rang in the New Year and was told that they were on order. Since then, as you all know I've sold the car and moved on. It's just annoying that I paid for the part upfront and they have decided never to let me have it or get in touch to say what the delay's all about. Don't get me wrong who cares now? It was only a few quid but it's just so typical, if I don't call them I might as well not exist. s
garcon magnifique
In my experience, at most dealerships once they've got your dosh for a car, the words "customer service" go together about as well as "military intelligence". In fact most people who work at dealerships seem to have a defective "we'll call you back" gene ... or maybe they just don't have phones that dial out? To be fair, I have no complaints whatsoever with my Subaru dealer (except they don't wash my car when they service it...) and friends are equally happy with BMW, Jag and Lexus. Audi, Mercedes and Peugeot on the other hand... Of course, the quality of customer service tends to vary hugely from one dealership to another... although some marques such as BMW and Lexus seem to have a far better average, presumably due to comprehensive customer service training and SLAs.
