stewarta13wsb
A 4 hour round trip today to get CD changer fitted, new leather seat cover (there was a cut in it) and a new grill (there was a crack in it) didn't end well - the bodyshop claimed they didn't know about grill & didn't have time ro fit it The thought of another day off and another 4 hour trip just did my head in and they knew it. Long story short, collected at 5 and it was done after all... but it now looks like I'm driving around with the bonnet not shut properly Anybody know if I slacken the 3 screws along the top of the grill (NEW STYLE) if there is any adjustment that would allow me to bring the whole thing 'out a bit'?? (Including the side panels between grill and headlights) Thanks,
autobahn
Take it back in and get them to fix it correctly. Anything that subsequently goes wrong with the same part and they'll blame you for adjusting it, possibly invalidating any claims. Pretty damn shoddy on a new motor, try and blag something from the garage for the trouble and hassle - discount from the first service or whatever. Its supposedly one of the advantages of a new car, having a warranty
runflat
totally agree with autobahn....get them to fix it and you can hold them liable for any subsequent problems. If you do it yourself you are fecked
