NS1
Don't encode your cd's with PMM, use another (better) program. I use EAC (Exact Audio Copy) & have not had one problem & according to the boffins who know, it is one of the best bits of encoding software around (+ it's free). I only use the PMM for transfering music to the cartridge. Hope that helps. Download it here :- http://www.exactaudiocopy.de

Scotty
I've been playing with EAC and I always get 32kbps mp3 files. I've actually triedc 128, 256 and 320 but I always get 32. HELP!
NS1
Download the latest Lame MP3 encoder & run that as an external encoder through EAC, should work fine.
Scotty
That's what I've got (Lame). Do I need to configure that as well. It seemed to be a simple installed where it just points at the Lame exe.
