Motormouth
Just wondered if anyone has come across this / know how to fix it. My problem is my hand brake seems to be sticking, when I get in the car take off the handbreak and reverse and I always hear a noise like the break pads are stuck to this disc, the car moves but always seems to be a bit of resitance when I first reverse but it seams fine after, it doesnt happen if drive forward. Want to know if its just a matter of me spraying some WD40 on something, I want to avoid the pain and hassle of going to my stealer

harminder
I get the same problem when the car has been parked over night. Found the best way to cure it is not to pull the handbrake all the way up. I normally park on a flat surface and so now just tend to leave the handbrake one click short... Have not had any problems since.. If you park on a hill.....can always leave it in gear for added peace of mind!
Tobes49
Rear pads stuck in the caliper mounting. You have to take the rear pads out and lube the slider bits with something like copper ease.
