pomme
Hiya, I had a thought whilst cleaning my car yesturday, about there being some places where the dirt really accumulates, like just behind the front wheels under the sills. And i dilike to use the mitt as i am then worried about spreading the dirt and causing scratches. So i am wondering woudl one of these scratch the paintwork: http://www.halfords.com/opd_product_details.asp?id=16516&type=0&cat=53 Cheers Andrew
Chillihead
In this world of high gloss finishes and almost obsessive cleaning. I would say yes. I have just cleaned the remains of a large night flying critter from my bonnet (car not head) and was very dissapointed to see short horizontal scratches all over the area. I appreciate that this was a commercial "Jetwash" however I am sure that the bristles are made of the same material. This is to prolong life at the cost of our shiny babies. NeilB
I wouldn't use one, will probabaly put swirl marks all over the paint work.
Drewcam
I used to use commercial jet wash rather than roller brush car washes. But after driving past one and seeing local gipsy cleaning the inside of a skip on the back of a skip wagon with the brush, i'm not suprised the brushs on them leave swirl marks. Hand wash is the only way for me
