NewNiceMrMe
I've stayed at the Bonham a few times because I get to Manor Place quite a bit. However, it's sister hotel The Howard is much nicer and I've stayed there a good number of times and it never lets you down. There's another one as well, Channings I think? TP27
Channings on South Learmonth Gardens, is good too. www.channings.co.uk A number of my client's use these (Channings, Howard & Bonhams) when over on business. A good base for anyone visiting the capital for a short stay!!

malagus
is it just me or is the white similar to the pearl white they used on the audi quattro??? looks the bees knees IMO.
Wallachie
It's a straight white, not metallic or pearlescent - but with the red line around the grill it looks great - definitely my favourite colour in the new GTI - needs the 18" Monza alloys though! I usually just train it to Waverley and then take a cab over to Manor Place. If I'm going to be around Edinburgh in the car I'll let the Scots know though. calmac
Right guys, its mine and i like the 17's!!!! I nearly got the 18's but changed my mind. Glad it meets with your approval though (apart from the wheels!)

[/ QUOTE ] Calmac - It's at this place: - http://www.starperformance.co.uk/ I've never been to one of the TSN meets either, but might go to this one! How long have you had the GTI? What did it replace?
calmac
Had it about 3 weeks now, replaced an Alfa Romeo 147 which i had for about 3 years. I never know what to expect at these things and don't want to be embarrassed as my car is standard!
Wallachie
I wouldn't worry, it's still a GTI, and a very cool looking one at that! I'm thinking of opting for a company car around December time, and I might go for a white or red MkV, if I do it will be standard other than 18" Monza alloys.
