scooby_simon
OK, scooby is going in for a little work, but I cannot find the security key anywhere; Where might I get another one from ? Annoying to say the least.... No idea of the make (Original Scooby prolly) Arse....
Thorburn
I'd imagine most garages will have the keys for them? I'm quite tempted to ditch my locking wheel nuts as I've seen too many of them snap while being removed.

NeilB
Worst case senario is they may have to be drilled to remove them.
felixthecat1
I did mine up too tight not long back and the garage had to remove one by force, didn't take long though, they simply hammered another one on top and used that. Bit of a bugger though, good luck with it.
cruiser647
Had this with my Audi V8. Went to do something, and the damn securtiy tool was completely shafted. Managed to get them off though, using brute force. They were soooo worn, with the placing bits falling out! ended up buying 4 standard bolts, as the car was 13 yrs old! No bugger would steal those wheels! I think you will have to go to a tyre fitting place and have them 'remove' them Good luck

[/ QUOTE ] Try your Scooby dealer first - they may keep the number on a database or it could be in the service book. If not then most garages these days have special tools to remove them, without too much fuss. One point to remember though - Good quality locking nuts/bolts should last FOREVER. The only reason they get fecked up is because they're over tightened (normally by numpty techs with air guns) HAND TIGHTEN ONLY and you'll never have a problem!
