John_Doe
AB, TSN ers, give me your thoughts on getting my sill guards painted in Noggy please? I'm very tempted...
Milo
The more I see it like it is the more I like it. I would be tempted to leave it; it looks different in a good way although I'm sure no-one will agree with me PS - it matches your dull grey tyres *cough* tyre dressing *cough*

Phantom
I saw a black A6 Allroad on Monday which had brushed chrome door sills , not sure if it was a factory option but it did look rather nice. Difficult choice, but unpainted makes it stand out more from other models in the A4 range, but brushed chrome would match the mirrors
John_Doe
Eeenie meneee mineee mo!! Must admit I hadnit thought about brushed chrome.....argh!!! Local Audi stealer will paint both sides in body colour noggy for.......£329.

Milo
£329! To get the Audi approved bodyshop to prepare and paint my new rear bumper was £110 inclusive of materials, labour and VAT. Tell them to mix a batch of paint rather than use touch up pens as it works out cheaper. The cheeky feckers.
lmmlmmam
I really like the graphite effect. The contrast against the lighter colours looks excellent.

Drewcam
I prefere them black mate. I think its to do with the contrast rather than blend in.

[/ QUOTE ] I think it just looks 'wrong'. Maybe I'm so used to looking at my car now when I see a S4 I double take. You've got the Alloy Trim Strips too - Nice. I say go for it - It would really finish the car off Even Chav's sitting on the fence so get on the phone and I don't think £300 odd is too bad a price. Our bodyshop charge £58.75 to paint a mirror cover BUB .............................................

Q-cars are all well and good, but if he wanted to be a complete sleeper, he wouldn't have put MTM alloys on. If I had to choose, I'd say keep them black.... especially if it costs 150 pints to paint them.

DeanW
Is there room on the fence for me too? Can't really make my mind up but for £350 odd I think I'd stick with the black - it'll become an expensive job if you decide you don't like them colour matched. The car does look good as it is now and if it's not broke why fit it?

John_Doe
Chav, hi and yes I'm always on the look for an enhancement or 2....I had the Milltek Cat back box done some weeks ago now and the sound is sublime! But I may also plum for the sports cats soon too. I am getting a Phatnoise system fitted on Monday....not sure what to have next but I'm always open to suggestions as long as it doesn't involve chrome wing mirrors!!!!!! What about your good self? Anything in the pipeline?
