bazza_g
off to Newquay at the crack-o-dawn tomorrow, driving down with a mate - not taking the Porker as I didn't fancy leaving it in the campsite carpark ! Staying here - the UK's only dedicated 18-30's campsite ! though am reaching the upper age limit rapidly !! Have to come back on Wednesday evening (flying to Gatwick is cheaper than the train!) due to work but will have had a pretty mad time - I'm hoping at least some photos will be post-able

shark_90
Let us know how you get on Baz.. I stayed at Sunnyside last year and it's a really good laugh. We were in Caravan 90 (hence the 90 in my name) and it's where all the parties happened. Try the Oblivion experience, you really will never forget it!!! The site security are generally little Hitlers but once you're round them (offer them a cigar - worked for me) you'll be fine. And a good idea on not taking the Porka! The bonnet of my MG got a lovely arse-mark on it where someone must have been sat/got shagged. I wasn't too impressed, but I smashed it up a couple of months later so I wasn't too bothered! Have a stunner mate, the 18 of us did
MattR32
My God - Newquay is CHAOS at the moment!! Went down on Monday for a surf but ended up a bit further up. Good fun but full of townies, football yobs, slappers and the like. Not my cup of tea but perfect for some!

bazza_g
Newquay was total mayhem !! Sunnyside is just as mental as I remember is from 10 years ago, though this time we def. were at the upper age limit ! Here's our Luxury Holiday Home It was ok really, it had a proper loo and a shower with constantly hot water ! The site was so busy last week the rep was saying the camper/shower ratio was 100 to 1 !!! The only prob came when some jokers put bread on our roof - come daybreak there was a seagull attack that woke us and scared the crap out of us !! The beach was rocking during the surf comp and after - busy, busy, busy - did plenty of body boarding and it was warm enough not to need wetsuits The skateboarders were pretty cool too !!! and a final shot of the very nice looking Newquay Links course all in, cracking fun - Chy, Sailors, RedSquare, Help, The Central (stunning bargirls!), Baracuda, Walkabout (for a laugh) sadly didn't manage to catch up with Dave or make it to Tall Trees for the wet T shirt compo ! Now just a little older and a little more tired. The campsite security were fine - the only trouble was when two of my mates kicked off at eachother after a drunken argument over football right in front of them - genius Newquay gets the thumbs up big time
