SammyS3
Hi all, Wanted to know what is the best brake upgrade I can get, which fits beneath the original 17" avus alloy? (for stealth value ...and no big red calipers!) For both front and rear. Would they need any other modifications, like spacers etc.? I fancied some RS4 or 911 (993) Turbo brakes, has anyone tried these? any good? much obliged Sam

Hopsta
Your memory cant be that bad Paul.... No spacers required with the standard Avus 17" wheels and Porsche 993 setup. Heres a pic of mine only a few weeks ago, before the RStt's went on. You'll see that its a little tight.

SammyS3
thanks guys, I think they will need spacers, that does look a little 'too' tight! Black 993 Turbo brakes it is then... and 10/15mm spacers. Oh, are they the same front and rear? and how do they perform (fade/bite etc?) Hopsta
AmD are now doing a brembo brake kit (were showing them at GTi this weekend). I think they are priced around the £700+Vat, so could be a cheaper option for you. Although not sure they can have black calipers, only red were on show. This is a new brake setup so may not be on their website yet. Graham
