Is it something that I could fit with a bit of help from someone who knows his way round car radios? Any info gratefully received. Can't wait for the new car. Precab Posted September 7, 2005 Report Share Posted September 7, 2005 Hi AlexR - I asked my dealer if they could fit an iPod interface, but seems there isn't an Audi UK approved accessory. There is one offered by Audi in the US, and its a rebadged Dension kit. When I get my Cab, I intend to get a Dension kit added within the first couple of months, but I'll get an ICE fitter to do it. Where abouts does the craddle sit on the facia? I'm not too keen on putting screw holes through it. I know you can get a "craddle-less" version which has just got the connector. JohnTT Posted September 8, 2005 Report Share Posted September 8, 2005 Alex, I picked up a new s-line cab back in June and I got the dealer to fit the Dension kit before hand. He did get an external ICE person to do it though along with another few things - phone kit, alarm & parking sensors. At the moment I have the cradle in the glovebox velcroed in the corner - that way I can take it out whenever I want. Sometimes I put it in the drinks holder so that I can see the display when scrolling through songs - the titles won't display on Audi head units as they don't support ID3 tags (I think). I may move it to the armrest once the dealer fits it - don't know if anybody has done this?? John Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
