Following from a previous post a few weeks ago, I popped into local VW Audi stealers and asked about it, they had no clue, booked me an appointment for the next week and said they would call me. I never got the call so popped in the day before my appointment to check the score. I was in luck, they hadn't got any info from VW but another bloke had been in and asked the same as me, he had gave him a printout from the r32club.de web site with all the info. He said he would be in touch again with some more info, anyway, a few days later the phone goes, he says he has 6463 on a cd with install intructions, pop in anytime and it shouldn't be more than 30mins. Not sure how much it will cost but cant wait to get it done, prob on Thu. Now I need to post on the German site the info for all Swiss owners (what a laugh they will have at my German).

Anyway, I'm bored at work now, guess this is pretty useless info for u all but I will reply to this when I see how she feels with 6364. jump.gif

Zip

Don't let them charge you for it. It's not an extra, it's to cure a 'client fault', Dr is the client.

At worse, agree to pay for the 30 minutes labour. The CD and online VW dealer downloads from VW can't be charged (they get them free!!). If they do so, they are saying the 6463 is a mod, when it's a service fix package for EMU!

Give them a polite nudge, 30 mins labour, give them the 'I'll always use you for my services' bit, should make it free, if they agree it's a warranty job.

Is there a quandry, if they do your car free of charge, does that open a floodgate to all euro R32's?
