Adam
the only BMW I would drive - was considering one myself I like the looks and 0-60 in 4.9secs M3 and Z4 have image problems for me
Blue
think that's one the best M's there is!!! it has the looks of a old E-coupe and i really love it unless most ppl dislike it
s4dreamer
Ugly as sin, and a (fast) hairdresser's car to boot. When he drove it on Top Gear, Tiff Needell said something to the effect that it was the best car money could buy for driver thrills. So steer well clear
DHA
tiff is a bit biased on that, he owns one
Woppum
I think for the money i would prefure the M3 with all the bits. But then i am a practicle kind of guy. I would love to drive one though and wouold consider it if i was thinking of buying a 2 seater. In regards to the looks i think it is cool and does remind me of the E-coupe. ALso there are little of them on the road and that makes it that bit more special. The inside looks alright as well, from what i can remember... SammyS3
I like them, they look so much better than the Z3 with a roof, even if they are still a little strange looking. really fast and the build quality (as you would imagine) is excellent. Faster than an M3 (E36 & 46) due to its lower weight and sooo much more interesting than a butch 3 series. I was looking at getting one myself, before I ordered the Noble that is... and I saw one the other day for 15 grand, which is really rather a bang/buck bargain, if you don't mind the absence of a slippy diff or t/c on the early cars. Saw one round my way a couple of months ago, which is unusual for Sheffield - looked the absolute doggies doodahs, and at a bargain price too
