s4dreamer
I can only get 4 channels and no Freeview either Snail. Nobody seems to want to tell me when our local transmitter (booster, actually) will be converted to provide Freeview either.
byron13
Dig TV will not be available to all on Freeview - large chunks will never be able to receive it be typical means. The government have indicated that as long as you have the means to get TV (SKY or Cable)then "Job Done" Big rip off in my mind. Where I live there are no direct plans to offer a 100% service. NeilB
I know Freeview are offering free sat soon, which instead of using an ariel you just lob a dish on the side of your house and it does the same job.

gizze
I wish they would turn it off straight away, when they do they can up the digital signal to a level where just about everyone can get it. Those who can't will be able to get the new free service anyway. We are so stuck in our ways over here, we never progress for the masses to make sure we don't upset the few. ChadW
Just flicked through my freeview channels today and it all just seems to be shopping and quizcall type stuff, if that is what digital TV is gonna be all about then I do not call that progress. Also I hope the government recognises that people in leashold properties do not own their current ariels, so who is gonna pay for ensuring leaseholders are catered for? Btw at least you get a "10 min. freeview" on Freeview, so at least they are honest about what you can see on it!
